Privacy
Your talk stays yours.
Odigos is built so the server carries only what the room needs: the questions you push, the answers people send back, and the questions they ask. The short version is below; it is the whole policy, not a summary of a longer one.
What we never receive
- Your slides, notes, documents or screen.
- Audio from your microphone or anyone's phone. Speech features run on the device that hears it.
- Transcripts of your talk.
AI drafting doesn't change this. The free model runs inside your browser, on your computer. If you connect your own AI provider instead, your browser talks to it directly, under that provider's terms, and our server sees nothing.
What we store
- Rooms
- The Room's title and link, the questions you push, the responses, and audience questions. Rooms started without an account are deleted 7 days after they were last used. Rooms you own stay until you delete them from your account.
- Attendees
- No account and no email. A phone keeps a random ID so it can rejoin, plus the nickname if the person typed one. Nicknames are optional.
- Presenter accounts
- Your email address and your handle. Sign-in uses a one-time emailed link and a cookie that keeps you signed in. No password, no tracking cookies.
- AI settings
- Your AI choice, and the address and API key if you connect your own provider, stay in your browser's storage. They never reach our server. The free model is downloaded from Hugging Face and kept in your browser's cache.
- Server logs
- Our web server keeps an access log (visitor IP address, the page requested, time) for up to 14 days, to handle abuse. Sign-in links are removed from it.
- Backups
- A nightly copy of the database is kept for 14 days so we can recover from a failure. Something you delete disappears from Odigos right away and from the backups within 14 days.
What we don't do
- No ads, no analytics trackers, no selling or sharing data.
- No third-party scripts or fonts. Pages load only from odigos.now. The one outside download is the AI model, and only if you choose it.
Who else is involved
Our hosting provider runs the server. Sign-in emails are sent through Zoho Mail. If you turn on the free AI model, your browser downloads it from Hugging Face (huggingface.co) and GitHub, which see an ordinary download request.
Your choices
- Delete any Room you own, or your whole account and every Room in it, from your account page. It's gone from Odigos immediately, and from backups within 14 days.
- Attendees can clear their ID by clearing site data in their browser.
